    Unlock Rock Band Game?
December 31st, 2008 under music, video games. [ Comments: none ]

    rockband2

Did you get Rock Band over the holidays and are frustrated with the “unlocking” of the songs?

    Harmonix has introduced “game modifiers”

into “Rock Band 2,” which includes such options as a long-needed no fail mode — and a secret song-unlock code.

The catch? You need to know the code! But we’ve already figured that out for you. You simply input the original “Rock Band” unlock code — Red, Yellow, Blue, Red, Red, Blue, Blue, Red, Yellow, Blue — in the game modifier screen.

Once the code is entered, the unlock song modifier will be unlocked. Voila! You have just unlocked all of the songs available in “Rock Band 2.”

December 28th, 2008 under cast members, youth media. [ Comments: none ]

  • Most overplayed songs

  •  ”Low” by Flo Rida: This song makes us feel so low, low, low, low, low, low, low, low.

  •  ”Closer” by Ne-Yo:

  •  ”Stop and Stare” by OneRepublic: At this point, we’ll just keep on going and look straight ahead.

  •  ”Bleeding Love” by Leona Lewis: More like bleeding ears.

  •  ”Please Don’t Stop the Music” by Rihanna: Don’t take it seriously, you can stop it anytime you like. We’re not kidding. Stop it. Now.

    Guilty pleasure songs

  •  ”Love Bug” by the Jonas Brothers: Even Jo Bro haters can appreciate this Jack Johnson-esque piece.

  •  ”Guilty Pleasure” by Cobra Starship: This song’s title is self-explanatory.

  •  ”I Kissed a Girl” by Katy Perry: I sang along, and I liked it.

  •  ”Disturbia” by Rihanna: This tune is so catchy, we catch even our parents humming it.

  •  ”One Step at a Time” by Jordin Sparks: Everyone loves an American Idol.

Blizzard World of Warcraft Wrath of the Lich King.
A Review by: Aden Katz, James McMullen and Carter Robberts

Released  November 13, 2008, Price  39.99 It is a cd used on a Mac or a PC.

This is an Action adventure game and is a fantasy. The object of the game is to reach higher levels by defeating monsters and other creatures. Because World of Warcraft is an online game and many people are playing at the same time, the game is more fun and more interesting.  World of Warcraft costs 15 dollars a month. It’s possible that you could get hacked but if you contact Blizzard they will get your stuff  back.

What makes World of Warcraft different is that you don’t have a number of lives and the game never ends. It is a good game and it is easy at the beginning but gets harder as you get further into the game.

I preface this by saying that these are not the greatest pixs as the photographers had to shoot from the soundboard.  We were there to support The Academy is who had to open the show.  They did an admirable job and I think they made some new fans.   Fans certainly seemed to like “About a Girl”.
